The man assaulted his girlfriend for a whole day after he had a dream that she was unfaithful
A man from Florida has been arrested after he beat up his girlfriend and attacked her with a knife.
27-year-old Carlos Gascon allegedly punched his partner and slashed her after he dreamt that she had been cheating.
Gascon also beat up the dog and tried to kill it by choking it with his foot at the victim's home in Summerland Key.
He poured hot coffee on his lover, threatened to kill her and threw her mobile phone and keys away.
The spokeswoman for the Monroe County Sheriff’s Office, Becky Herrin said:
“She said he was angry at her because he had a dream she was cheating on him,"
The suspect is in jail and is facing charges of aggravated assault, battery, false imprisonment and animal cruelty.
